Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – Two Rochester men have been charged with felony assault for attacking a Byron man last year, leaving the victim with broken teeth and other injuries.
The victim told Olmsted County deputies the two men attacked him with pipes, hitting him “in the face and the back of the head.”
According to the criminal complaint, Joshua Davis, 36, and Sergio Andres Jurado-Gonzalez, 29, showed up at the victim’s home on the evening of September 10. “and confronted him about the wages they felt they owed.”
The men fled when a neighbor intervened.
The complaint says “Deputies arrived at the scene and observed an adult male lying in the yard actively bleeding from injuries sustained in the assault and arranged for his transfer to a medical treatment facility.”
The complaint says “After the assault, the victim said he received a text from Accused 1 apologizing for the ‘miscommunication’.
Both men were ordered to make their first court appearances in April.
