Sing it, Willow!
Pink’s 10-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart showed off her beautiful singing voice in a recent Instagram video.
The mother and daughter sang a traditional Hebrew candle blessing song as they lit a menorah for Chanukah, which began on November 28 and ends on December 6. Pink’s son, Jameson, 4, helped light candles but did not participate in the singing.
Willow sang in unison with her pop star mother, who has written about her Jewish identity in the past.
“Happy Hanukah (I spoil the lyrics of every song I sing),” Pink captioned the sweet video. “I wish everyone peace in their hearts.”
Pink and her daughter have a lot of music experience together. Earlier this year, they sang together on a new track called “Cover Me in Sunshine”. The nostalgic music video for the song featured candid shots of Pink and Willow spending a day together in the countryside, feeding animals and riding horses.
“This past year has been so much for us,” Pink said in a press release of the song. “Sad, lonely, scary, yes. He’s also been calm, thoughtful, and a great teacher. Willow and I find solace in music, so we are releasing this song for no other reason than we hope it will bring you sweetness, sunshine and comfort as well.
Along with singing, it also looks like Willow inherited her mother’s incredible acrobatic skills. She and Pink wowed everyone with their incredible synchronized performance at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, both twirling and spinning high in the air using aerial silks.
Pink recently paid tribute to her daughter in a touching Instagram post for National Girls’ Day in September.
“My wish for you is to be filled with passion and purpose, humor and curiosity,” she wrote. “And someday, far from now, when I’m on my way, I want you to know in your center that you were the love of my life.”
